For more than half a century, the Community Foundation of Greater Lafayette has been a force for good in Tippecanoe County.

By connecting local philanthropists with the causes that matter most to them, we’ve helped countless donors make a meaningful and lasting impact. Most importantly, we’ve helped our community experience tremendous positive growth.

Since our founding, our purpose has remained steadfast: to leverage the power of philanthropy to help Greater Lafayette thrive. Certainly, there have been challenges—not least of all when the pandemic arrived in 2020. During that time, we helped local philanthropists direct their giving to where it was needed most—hunger relief, homelessness, education—lifting up our community during a time of tragedy and uncertainty.

Serving the public good through philanthropy has been, and always will be, our purpose. In good times and bad, we will be here to help nonprofits gain access to critical resources. To help donors do the most possible good with their resources. And to be ceaselessly aware of our community’s most pressing needs.

The work we’ve done over the past 50 years has made our community undeniably stronger. As we look toward the next 50, we are excited to inspire an even Greater tomorrow by harnessing the power of voluntary action for the public good.
